This had to be saved as a PNG file because everytime I saved it in GIF format, the edges looked all chewed up. Unfortunately, each time I save a PNG from the Internet, I get a 1x1 pixel dot of transparent nothingness. So... For you computer gurus out there, how can I save a PNG file off the net? Could it be my settings? If so, which ones? How come I cannot save PNG files, like this, from the Internet? Obviously, I can make them, but then I can't download them. Does anyone know why this is happening to me, and how I can fix the problem? It's making me very discouraged in the practice of transparent av creation. I use Win XP Pro, and I've got Ulead PhotoImpact. Can anyone please help?

In the mean time, to preserve the edges of Captain America's Shield, this is a PNG file. It should appear transparent against any background... And it looks much more smooth in PNG than it did in GIF.
